Disclosure
Definition: The first public disclosure of details of an invention
ACH
Definition: Automated Clearing House - a nationwide batch-oriented electronic funds transfer system governed by the NACHA (National Automated Clearing House Association)
PCT Regulations
Definition: Provide rules concerning matters expressly refers to in the Patent Cooperation Treaty, any administrative requirements, matters, or procedures, and concerning any details useful in the implementation.
Precautionary Designation
Definition: Designation of a Contracting State in an international application filed under the Patent Cooperation Treaty which must be confirmed prior to 15 months from the priority date.
Declaration
Definition: A document in which an applicant for patent declares, under penalty of fine or imprisonment, or both (18 USC 1001), that he or she is the original or sole inventor.
Assignee
Definition: The entity that is the recipient of a transfer of a patent application, patent, trademark application or trademark registration from its owner of record.
