Vistaprint Awarded Two Additional U.S. Patents


VistaPrint Limited (Nasdaq:VPRT), the leading online supplier of high-quality graphic design services and customized printed products to small businesses and consumers, announced that the company has been awarded its sixth and seventh United States patents, bringing the company’s worldwide patent total to ten. VistaPrint has more than 40 pending patent applications worldwide.

VistaPrint’s two newest patents increase the size of the company’s intellectual property portfolio. U.S. patent number 6,992,794 relates to methods for processing and printing individual print jobs in groups instead of one at a time. This VistaBridge technology is part of what enables VistaPrint to process an average of 12,000 customized orders per day. Patent number 6,993,209 relates to VistaPrint’s ability to deliver printed products that match the design as viewed by the customer on the computer in the web browser.
